¿Qué es el examen IELTS?

Si estás buscando una certificación de inglés internacionalmente reconocida, el IELTS es una excelente opción.

El IELTS (International English Language Testing System) es un examen que evalúa el nivel de inglés de los estudiantes no nativos. En la actualidad se acepta en más de 10,000 organizaciones en todo el mundo, incluyendo universidades, empresas y agencias gubernamentales.

Ten en cuenta que el examen IELTS tiene dos versiones: Academic y General Training. La versión Academic está diseñada para los que quieren estudiar en una universidad en un país de habla inglesa, mientras que la versión General Training está indicada para los que quieren trabajar o emigrar a un país de habla inglesa.

👉 En este post vamos a hablar del IELTS General Training Writing Practice Test. Dependiendo de la nota que saques te darán el nivel de inglés acorde, siendo el mínimo un B1. Para prepararte muy bien mira estos consejos y estructura para escribir el Essay para IELTS.

El test IELTS de Cambridge se compone de dos partes Task 1 y Task 2:

IELTS Writing Task 1: Letter

En el IELTS General task 1, te pedirán escribir una carta respondiendo a una situación dada, explicando un evento o pidiendo información. En esta tarea, te darán 20 minutos para escribir una carta de 150 palabras que puede ser personal, semiformal o formal, dependiendo de la situación. Estos son algunos consejos útiles para escribir cartas en el Entrenamiento General IELTS para que mejores tus conocimientos sobre el formato de las cartas y sepas cómo estructurarlas:

Primero y muy importante: Lee atentamente las instrucciones. En ellas te dirán cuál es la finalidad, el asunto y el destinatario de la carta.

Cómo estructurar tu carta:

Cuando escribas tu carta, recuerda incluir lo siguiente:

1. Saludo
Es muy importante que la apertura y el cierre de una carta sean correctos, ya que marcan el tono del resto de la carta.

2. Motivo de la carta

IELTS Writing Task 2: Essay

En la segunda parte del examen te pedirán que escribas un ensayo sobre un tema entre 250 y 300 palabras en 40 minutos. Normalmente se tratará de un tema social y se valorará la claridad en la que expresas tus ideas y el vocabulario utilizado. Trucos para aprobar el IELTS de Cambridge
