The Picnic Adventure

In a sunny town, four friends – Sarah, Mark, Emily, and Jack – planned a picnic. They put fruits, sandwiches, and drinks in a big basket. Excitedly, they walked to the park.

Suddenly, dark clouds appeared, and it started to rain. They hurried under a tree for shelter. Sarah said, “Let’s play a game while we wait.” They played cards and laughed a lot.

As the rain slowed, they noticed a rainbow. It was beautiful! They decided to search for the rainbow’s end. Following the colors, they walked through the park, crossing a bridge and a small stream.

Nearby, they found a hidden garden with colorful flowers and butterflies. Emily exclaimed, “This is amazing!” They took pictures and shared stories about their favorite flowers.

Finally, they saw the end of the rainbow. There wasn’t a pot of gold, but there was something better – a snack bar selling hot chocolate! They used their picnic snacks to buy warm drinks.

Sitting together, they enjoyed the hot chocolate, feeling grateful for their unexpected adventure. The rain stopped, and the sun appeared. They packed up and returned home, smiling and talking about their memorable picnic.

The friends decided that even when plans change, adventures can be found. They promised to have another picnic soon, rain or shine.
